Mrs. Turner, the head of our lunch program for summer at Grace Fellowship, let us know over the weekend that breakfast will also be served to our campers as well. Thought we'd let you know!
Open House will be 10 AM - 2 PM on May 25th; it was stated as being until 3 PM both here and on Tucker Day fliers yesterday. We wanted to correct our error ASAP! Thanks for your patience and understanding! On Saturday, May 25th, from 10 AM - 3 PM, Ruby Christian School and Grace Fellowship Christian Church will be hosting an RCS Open House! We will be accepting applications for camp and school that day. The church is located at 1800 Montreal Court, Suite A in Tucker, GA. Come by and meet us and see how God has blessed RCS during the last few months! We're very excited and looking forward to meeting you! Several of you have asked us about touring the church facilities for camp. I spoke to the Pastor this morning and we're looking at a possible date. We will post the date here as soon as it is confirmed! Thanks for your patience! The cost of this year's Catch Up Camp has been reduced from $125 a week to $75 a week. This will make the entire six week session only $450 per camper! Call us today at 404-660-0066 to reserve your scholar a place in camp...remaining openings will go quickly! If you are registering for a two week camp session, there is a $30 deposit to hold your place; there is a $50 deposit if you register for all six weeks. Please note: this is not additional money you are paying. These non-refundable deposits will come off the final camp cost to you. For example, if a parent calls and registers for a two week session, they can pay the entire $250 up front, or they can reserve a spot for $30, and pay the remaining $220 by the first day of camp. If you want to catch up in one or more subjects while making new friends and having fun, Catch Up Camp is for you! Mornings at Catch Up Camp will be filled with individualized tutoring. The afternoons; however, will be bursting with games, themed activities, field trips and fun! Catch Up Camp is divided into three sessions. You may sign up for one, two, or all three sessions. Session 1 runs from June 3rd through June 14th. Campers will compare and contrast superheroes, Biblical heroes, and today's heroes. They will meet some local heroes and explore what it means to be a hero - what does it mean to be brave? How do we live bravely each day? How can each one of us be a hero? Session 2 runs from June 17th to June 28th. These are the weeks campers will be 'Creating'! They will have some hands-on fun with building materials and tools as they build and play carnival-style games. During these two weeks we'll explore how we build our reputations, academic career and relationships so that they are solid and lasting. Session 3 begins July 1 and ends with an MDA carnival for friends, family, and community the last day of camp. Campers will discover 'Careers' and explore what career they are interested in. Guest speakers share the excitement of their chosen careers and encourage and motivate campers to pursue their dreams. Campers will also explore how to choose a career and how they can use their career to help others. Come join us for the fun and excitement at Catch Up Camp! Whoops! I goofed! The address of Grace Fellowship Christian Church is 1800 Montreal Court, not Montreal Circle as previously stated. Thanks for your patience and understanding! ~ Tim Catch Up Camp will be $125 per week for each scholar attending. You may register for a two week themed session or for the entire camp; a deposit of $30 for a two week session, or $50 for all six weeks, is required to reserve your scholar a place in camp. Please note: curriculum materials, field trips, and / or day trips are covered within the camp tuition! Also, lunches will be provided by the USDA Summer Food Program, so you won't need to send a sack lunch! Two week themes begin on June 3rd, June 17, and July 1st, July 4th is an optional camp day, but we are planning a picnic for all scholars and their families that attend that day. When calling to register, please let us know whether you are signing up for a particular week or the whole camp. Summer will be here before you know it! Don't let your scholar miss out on a fantastic opportunity to receive individualized tutoring and participate in engaging themed activities and field trips. For maximum benefit from our individualized tutoring, students need to be registered and complete our diagnostic test before beginning camp. The diagnostic test is done online and takes approximately one hour per subject. If you are unable to schedule a testing at the times listed below, your scholar can still attend camp; we will have lessons for them to do, but it usually takes 3 days from test completion and ordering to receive the actual curriculum.
